This product does not contain any acid or lye. Be careful, however, DO NOT USE IN CLOGGED DRAINS WHERE ACID OR LYE DRAIN OPENERS MAY STILL BE PRESENT. SPLASHBACK OF ACID OR LYE CAN BURN SKIN AND EYES. If acid or lye product comes into contact with skin or eyes, flush area with water immediately and consult physician. If blockage is not cleared after third application, call a qualified plumber. Read directions carefully before using. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Avoid inhalation/ ingestion/ skin contact. Use in a well ventilated area. VAPOR HARMFUL. Inhalation of high concentration of vapor may cause dizziness. If high vapor concentrations are inhaled, remove to fresh air. Canister nozzle must be pointed down (into drain) when using. SKIN CONTACT WITH LIQUID MAY CAUSE FROSTBITE. If eye or skin contact occurs, flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If frostbitten, get medical care immediately. While waiting for medical care, warm affected area with warm (not hot) water until all sensation returns. Treat frozen parts gently – do not rub them. CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE. Do not puncture or incinerate container. Do not expose to heat or store at temperatures above 120 deg F. Contains: 1,1,1,2 – Tetrafluoroethane (CAS #811-97-2) and Dimethoxymethane (CAS #109-87-5).

HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Emergency overview: Clear, colorless liquefied gas with faint etheral odor.
Potential health effects:
Acute eye: Considered an eye irritant, causes redness, irritation, tearing.
Acute skin: Contact with rapidly volatilizing liquid or cold vapor can cause frostbite to any tissue.
Acute inhalation: High concentrations are irritating to the respiratory tract and may result in (CNS) effects such as headache, dizziness, anesthesia, drowsiness, and in severe exposure, loss of consciousness and death.
Acute ingestion: Not applicable – product is a gas at ambient temperatures.

First Aid: From MSDS
Eyes: Hold eyelids open and flush with a steady, gentle stream of water for at least 15 minutes lifting upper and lower eyelids to insure complete flushing. Seek immediate medical attention if irritation persists.
Skin exposure: In case of contact, flush exposed skin with lukewarm water (not hot), or use other means to warm skin slowly. Get medical attention if frostbitten by liquid or any irritation occurs.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention. Do not give adrenaline, epinephrine or similar drugs following exposure to this product.
Ingestion: Ingestion is not considered a potential route of exposure. Product is a gas under normal conditions.
