Warnings: Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do not breathe vapors. Use only in a well ventilated area. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using product. Wash hands thoroughly after use. Keep containers closed when not in use. Keep product away from water and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.Store in the original container. Keep container closed and protect from moisture. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area. Store between 5 and 40 degrees C. Store away from oxidizers, alcohols, amines and other materials that react with isocyanates.
Acute Health Effects: From MSDS:Hazards IdentificationEmergency Overview: May cause eye and skin irritation. Inhalation of vapors may cause nose and throat irritation. May be harmful if swallowed or inhaled. May cause sensitization (allergic reaction) by inhalation and skin contact. Persons who are allergic to isocyanates should avoid contact with this product. Symptoms may include coughing, difficulty breathing and a feeling of tightness in the chest. Effects may be delayed.Potential Health EffectsEye contact: May cause moderate irritation.Skin contact: May cause irritation. May cause allergic skin reaction.Inhalation: Breathing vapors may cause irritation of the nose, throat and upper respiratory tract. May cause allergic respiratory reaction in individuals who are sensitized to isocyanates. Symptoms may include coughing, difficulty breathing and a feeling of tightness in the chest. Effects may be delayed.Ingestion: May be harmful if swallowed.Medical Conditions Aggravated by Exposure: Persons with pre-existing skin and respiratory disorders.
Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS:May cause allergic skin and respiratory reaction. Prolonged or repeated inhalation exposure may cause asthma.
Carcinogenicity: None of the components of this product are listed as carcinogens by IARC, NTP or ACGIH.
First Aid: General Information: In case of adverse health effects, seek medical advice.Eye: Rinse thoroughly with water for at least 20 minutes, holding the eye lids open to be sure the material is washed out. Get immediate medical attention.Skin: Wipe off affected skin area immediately with a soft cloth and then remove residues with vegetable oil. Cured product can only be removed mechanically. Replace contaminated clothing.Inhalation: If irritation or other symptoms develop, move to fresh air. Get medical attention if irritation persists.Ingestion: Rinse mouth with a small amount of water. Immediately call local poison control center or go to an emergency department. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious or drowsy person. Do not induce vomiting.
