Acute Health Effects: From MSDS:EFFECTS OF EXPOSURE ENTRY ROUTE: INHALE - NO; INGEST - YES; SKIN - YES; EYE – YES INHALATION: The inhalation of Teflon vapors, fumes or dust may lead to temporary flu-like symptoms. However, the release of Teflon in this product is unlikely except when heating. SKIN: Contact may cause irritation and possibly dermatitis. EYE: Contact may cause irritation, redness, tearing and burning sensation. INGESTION: May cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.TARGET ORGANS: Eye, Skin

Carcinogenicity: Carcinogen NTP/IARC/OSHA - No
First Aid: SKIN: Flush with water, then wash thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Call a poison control center or physician if irritation persists. EYE: Flush with water for 15 minutes and call a poison control center or physician immediately. INHALATION: If ill feeling arises, move to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Keep victim quiet and warm. Call a poison control center or physician. INGESTION: Drink water and call a poison control center or physician immediately. Avoid alcoholic beverages. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
