This material is not combustible. May cause irritation to the eyes and skin. Inhalation of dust may cause mucous membrane and respiratory irritation.
Potential Health Effects
Inhalation: Inhalation of vapor or mist may cause mucous membrane irritation.
Skin contact: May cause irritation, seen as localized reddening and swelling. Prolonged or frequent skin contact to glutaraldehyde solutions may result in sensitization with allergic skin reaction to subsequent exposures.
Eye contact: May cause eye irritation with excess tearing and reddening of the conjunctiva.
Ingestion: No evidence of adverse effects from available information.
Medical conditions aggravated by exposure: A knowledge of the available toxicology information and of the physical and chemical properties of the material suggests that overexposure is unlikely to aggravate an existing medical condition.

From MSDS:
This product contains a small amount of crystalline silica. Repeated inhalation of large amounts of silica dust over an extended period of time may result in a progressive, disabling disease, silicosis. Symptoms include shortness of breath, chest pain and reduced lung function.

Respirable crystalline silica is listed by both NTP and IARC as a carcinogen. None of the other components of this product are listed as a carcinogen or suspected carcinogen by IARC, NTP, ACGIH or OSHA.

Inhalation: No harmful effects expected. However, If symptoms of exposure occur, remove to fresh air.
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash all affected and exposed areas with soap and water. If irritation or redness occurs and persists, seek medical attention.
Eye contact: Exposed eyes should be immediately flushed with copious amounts of water using a steady stream for a minimum of 15 minutes. If irritation, pain, swelling or tearing persist, seek medical attention.
Ingestion: No harmful effects expected.
Notes to Physician: Toxicological studies have shown the components to be of low acute toxicity. There is no specific antidote. Treatment of overexposure should be directed at the control of symptoms and the clinical conditions.
