Acute Health Effects:
From MSDS:
HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD:
At high temperatures, this product decomposes to give off hydrochloric acid gas plus other toxic and irritating vapors such as phosgene. If storage containers are exposed to excessive heat, overpressurization of containers can result.
ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
INHALATION: Excessive inhalation may produce symptoms of central nervous system depression, ranging from light-headedness, nausea and vomiting, to
unconsciousness and death.
SKIN: Mildly irritating to skin. Skin contact may produce a burning sensation prolonged or repeated contact may cause skin to become reddened, rough, and dry due to the removal of natural oils and may result in dermatitis. May be absorbed through the skin, although not expected to produce toxicity
through this route.
EYE CONTACT: An irritant of the eyes, causing pain, lacrimation and general inflammation.
INGESTION: May cause irritation of the gastrointestinal tract with vomiting. If vomiting results in aspiration, chemical pneumonia may follow. Absorption through the gastrointestinal tract may produce symptoms of central nervous system depression ranging from light-headedness to unconsciousness.
EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE:
Excessive inhalation or ingestion may produce symptoms of central nervous system depression ranging from light headedness, to unconsciousness and death. Overexposure may result in liver and kidney damage. Exposure of the eyes and skin may produce irritation. Animals exposed to high levels have shown cardiac sensitization.

Chronic Health Effects:
From MSDS:
Can cause headache, mental confusion, depression, fatigue, loss of sense of balance, and visual disturbances. Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause dermatitis.

Carcinogenicity:
In accordance with Prop 65, this product contains a chemical(s) known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm.

First Aid:
EYES: Irrigate with flowing water immediately and continuously for 15 minutes. Consult medical personnel.
SKIN: Wash off in flowing water or shower.
INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Call a physician and/or transport to emergency facility immediately.
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, oxygen should be administered by qualified personnel. Call a physician or transport to a medical facility.
NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Because rapid absorption may occur through lungs if aspirated and cause systemic effects, the decision of whether to induce
vomiting or not should be made by a physician. If lavage is performed, suggest endotracheal and/or espophageal control. Danger from lung aspiration must be weighted against toxicity when considering emptying the stomach. Exposure may increase myocardial irritability . Do not administer sympathominetic drugs unless absolutely necessary.

Handling/Disposal
Handling:
When utilizing pressurized containers follow standard safety practices for handling aerosols. Do not store at temperatures above 120 degree F. Odor is not an adequate warning of potentially hazardous concentrations in air. Releases of these gases may cause a flammable atmosphere with explosion potential.

Disposal:
Consult local authorities for proper waste disposal procedures. Empty de-pressurized containers can not be reused. Cans which are pressurized or contain liquid must be disposed of in a permitted waste management facility. Consult Federal, State, and Local disposal authorities for approved procedures.
