Eye Irritation: Product is irritating to eyes due to presence of Sodium Cocoamide DEA. This ingredient is common among many shampoos, and is present in Simple Green Car Wash at less than 1.05% by weight. Therefore, eye irritation is expected with reversible tearing and reddening the only symptoms likely.
Dermal Irritation: Only mild but reversible irritation was found on human volunteer after 72 hours exposure to concentrate.
Subchronic dermal effects: No adverse effects, except reversible dermal irritation. This product is not a dermal sensitizer.

Eye contact: Redness and excessive tearing may develop. Immediately rinse the eye with large quantities of low-pressure cool water; continue at least 10-15 minutes until the material has been removed; After 5 minutes of rinsing remove contact lenses, if present, and then continue rinsing. Lift upper and lower lids during rinsing. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
Skin contact: Minimal drying effects, if any; rinse skin with water, rinse shoes and launder clothing before reuse. Those with sensitive skin, eczema or psoriasis should wear gloves. Reversible reddening may occur in some dermal sensitive users. Thoroughly rinse area with water and get medical attention if reaction persists.
Swallowing: Slightly-toxic. Give several glasses of water to dilute; do not induce vomiting. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Detersive effects may cause nausea and diarrhea for a short period of time. If lingering stomach upset occurs, consult physician.
Inhalation: Exposures to misted product may cause irritation of nasal passages or throat; remove to fresh air. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
