Human Health Effects or Risks from Exposure:
Adverse effects on human health are not expected from Simple Green® Hand Cleaner Gel, based upon twenty years of use without reported adverse health incidence in diverse population groups, including extensive use by inmates of U.S. Federal prisons in cleaning operations.
Eye irritation, common to surfactants or hard granular material in the eye, should be expected from Simple Green® Hand Cleaner Gel.
Skin irritation is not likely with Simple Green® Hand Cleaner Gel.
Medical Conditions Aggravated by Exposure: None anticipated.

None of the ingredients are regulated or listed as cancer agents by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the U.S. National Toxicology Program, or the International Agency for Research on Cancer.

Eye contact: Reddening may develop. Immediately rinse the eye with large quantities of cool water; continue 10-15 minutes or until the material has been removed; be sure to remove contact lenses, if present, and to lift upper and lower lids during rinsing. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
Skin contact: Adverse effects not expected, although some highly dermal sensitive users may experience reversible reddening. Such individuals should get medical attention if a response reaction occurs.
Swallowing: Essentially non-toxic. Give several glasses of water to dilute; do not induce vomiting. If stomach upset occurs, consult physician.
Inhalation: Non-toxic. Exposures to vapors not of concern, but if dizziness occurs, get fresh air.

No special precautions are required. This product is non-hazardous for storage and transport according to the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Regulations. Simple Green Hand Cleaner Gel requires no special labeling or placarding to meet U.S. DOT requirements.
Storage at elevated temperatures (up to 194 deg F [90 degrees C]) will not cause breakdown of the gel.

Simple Green® Hand Cleaner Gel is fully water soluble and biodegradable and will not harm sewage-treatment microorganisms if disposal by sewer or drain is necessary. Dispose of in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
