POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS
EYES: May cause eye irritation.
SKIN : May cause skin irritation.
INGESTION: Possible cholinesterase inhibition symptoms if large amounts ingested. These include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, cramps, chest discomfort, salivation, lacrimation, headache, dizziness, blurred vision, weakness, sweating, miosis, tearing, uncontrollable muscle twitches, convulsions, coma, and loss of reflexes and sphincter control.
INHALATION : Prolonged or excessive inhalation may cause respiratory tract irritation.
ROUTES OF ENTRY: Ingestion, skin, inhalation.

EYES: If in eyes, hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
SKIN: If on skin or clothing, take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
INGESTION: Give large amounts of water to drink. Seek medical attention if necessary. Induce vomiting only upon advice from a physician.
INHALATION: Move person to fresh air. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.
NOTES TO PHYSICIAN: This product contains an organophosphate insecticide. If signs and/or symptoms of cholinesterase inhibition are present, atropine sulfate by injection is antidotal. 2-PAM is also antidotal and may be administered, but only in conjunction with atropine.

HANDLING:
See label. Wash hands with soap and water after handling product. Avoid bag breakage. A void inhalation or contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash waters. Keep out of lakes, streams or ponds. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
STORAGE:
Store in a cool, dry area away from incompatible materials and heat sources. Store away from feed and foodstuffs, as well as household cleaning products. KEEP OUT OF REACH CHILDREN.
ECOTOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION: Keep out of lakes, streams, ponds, tidal marshes, and estuaries. Diazinon is considered to be highly toxic to birds, fish, and other wildlife. Run-off may be hazardous to aquatic organisms in neighboring areas.
