EMERGENCY OVERVIEW

IMMEDIATE CONCERNS: - CAUTION

Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. May cause skin and eye irritation. Harmful if swallowed. Do not inhale dust. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS.

POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS

EYES: Causes eye irritation.
SKIN: May cause skin irritation.
INGESTION: Harmful if swallowed.
INHALATION: Prolonged or excessive inhalation may cause respiratory tract irritation.

ACUTE TOXICITY: No specific symptoms of acute overexposure are known to occur in humans. Based on EPA Toxicity Category criteria, this material is mildly toxic by the oral and dermal routes. In addition, animal studies have shown that it is not a dermal irritant or a dermal sensitizer; however; it is mildly irritating to the conjunctiva of the eye, but the irritation is reversible within 7 days.

ROUTES OF ENTRY: Ingestion, skin, inhalation, and eyes.

TARGET ORGAN STATEMENT: Skin, eyes, respiratory tract, and gastrointestinal tract.

Prolonged or excessive inhalation may cause respiratory tract irritation.

First Aid: From MSDS
EYES: If in eyes, hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
SKIN: If on skin or clothing, take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
INGESTION: If swallowed, call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to by the poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
INHALATION: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth, if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

NOTES TO PHYSICIAN: No specific antidote is available. Treat the patient symptomatically.

HANDLING: See label. Avoid container breakage. Wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using toilet. Remove clothing immediately if product gets inside. Wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing. Keep out of lakes, streams, or ponds. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

STORAGE: See label for proper storage. Store in original container in a cool, dry area away from incompatible materials and heat sources. Store away from feed and foodstuffs, as well as household cleaning products. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Disposal: From MSDS
Securely wrap original container in several layers of newspaper and discard in trash. Do not reuse container.
