EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
IMMEDIATE CONCERNS: - CAUTION
- Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing.
- Causes eye irritation.
- Harmful if inhaled, swallowed, or absorbed through skin.
- Avoid inhalation of dust.
- KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS.
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS
EYES: Causes eye irritation.
SKIN: Repeated skin contact may dry skin possibly resulting in skin irritation.
INGESTION: Ingestion may result in abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
INHALATION: Prolonged breathing of dust may cause throat or nose irritation.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED: Skin abrasions, sores, or other pre-existing skin conditions. Inhalation of dust may aggravate asthma.
ROUTES OF ENTRY: Ingestion, skin, inhalation.

The EPA has classified bifenthrin as a Group C carcinogen. Bifenthrin is not classified as carcinogenic by OSHA, IARC, and NTP.

EYES: If in eyes, hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
SKIN: If on skin or clothing, take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
INGESTION: If swallowed, call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to by the poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
INHALATION: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth, if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.
NOTES TO PHYSICIAN: This product is a pyrethroid. If large amounts have been ingested, milk, cream, or other digestible fats and oils may increase absorption and should be avoided.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

HANDLING: See label. Wash hands with soap and water after handling product. Avoid bag breakage. Avoid inhalation or contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash waters. Do not contaminate feed or foodstuffs. Avoid contamination with oxidizing agents or strong alkali. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
STORAGE: See label. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Avoid container breakage. Store in cool, dry area in closed container or package. Keep away from feed or foodstuffs.
