Health Effects
Warnings:
Contains: Crystalline Silica that can cause cancer when in the respirable form (spray mist or sanding dust). Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not breathe spray mist or sanding dust. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Wear eye protection and gloves during application or sanding. A dust/particulate respirator approved by NIOSH should be worn when sanding or spraying. Close container after each use.IN CASE OF SPILL: Absorb with inert material and dispose of as specified under Thinning/Cleanup.KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Protect from freezing.
Acute Health Effects:
From MSDS: PRIMARY ROUTE(S) OF ENTRY: DERMAL, INHALATION, INGESTION EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE: Inhalation - Causes nose and throat irritation. Inhalation - Causes lung irritation. Skin and Eye Contact - Primary irritation. Ingestion of large amounts could cause serious injury. MEDICAL CONDITIONS PRONE TO AGGRAVATION BY EXPOSURE: None expected when used in accordance with Safe Handling and Use Information.

From MSDS: Inhalation statement: Sanding dust inhalation may cause lung damage.
Carcinogenicity:
Contains: Crystalline Silica which has been determined to be carcinogenic to humans (1) by IARC when in respirable form. Risk of cancer depends on duration and level of inhalation exposure to dust from sanding the dried paint or spray mist. This product contains one or more reported teratogens or suspected teratogens which are noted NTP, IARC, or OSHA-Z.
First Aid:
Inhalation - Remove to fresh air. Get medical help for any breathing difficulty. Eye Contact - Flush thoroughly with water. Call physician.Skin Contact - Wash with soap and water. Ingestion - Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water to dilute. DO NOT induce vomiting. Call physician.
