IARC concludes that there is sufficient evidence in humans and experimental animals for the carcinogenicity of crystalline silica in the forms of quartz or cristobalite. IARC (Group 1). Titanium dioxide has been characterized by IARC as possibly carcinogenic to humans (Group 2b) through inhalation (not ingestion). This classification is based upon animal inhalation studies. Epidemiology studies do not suggest an increased risk of cancer in humans from occupational exposure to titanium dioxide.
Eyes: Flush with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Consult a physician if irritation persists.Skin: Wash affected area with soap and water.
