Health Effects

| Avoid storage at temperatures greater than 90 degrees F or near heat, sparks, electrical equipment or open flames. Avoid prolonged breathing of vapors or contact with skin. Prevent prolonged or repeated breathing of vapors. Use this product outdoors if possible. If you must use it indoors, open all windows and doors or use other means to assure fresh air circulation during application. |
| From MSDS:Health Hazard DataInhalation: Excessive exposure to vapors can result in headache, dizziness, incoordination, nausea and loss of consciousness.Skin and eye contact: Extreme burning on eye contact. Burning, redness and possible rash on contact with skin.Skin absorption: This material may cause defatting and irritation of the skin. Prolonged or repeated contact may cause dermatitis.Ingestion: Extreme discomfort, nausea, unconsciousness.Medical conditions generally aggravated by exposure: Kidney diseases, respiratory illnesses, skin allergies, cardiac conditions. |
| From MSDS:Reports have associated repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and central nervous system damage. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling vapors from this product may be harmful or fatal. |
| Methylene chloride is identified as a potental carcinogen by IARC and NTP. It is not believed to pose a measurable carcinogenic risk to man when handled as recommended. |
| Eye contact : Flush immediately with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Consult a physician.Skin contact: Wash affected area with soap and water. Consult a physician if irritation persists. Remove contaminated clothing.Ingestion: Seek medical attention. If individual is drowsy or unconscious, do not give anything by mouth; Place individual on the left side with the head down. Contact a physician, medical facility or poison control center for advice about whether to induce vomiting.Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. |

| Using non-sparking tools scrape up and store in closed metal container. Dispose of in approved sites according to local, state and federal regulations. |
