| PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS. HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS. CAUTION: Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Place traps in areas inaccessible to children and domestic animals. Do not contaminate feed or food products or food preparation surfaces, dishes, kitchen utensils and food containers. STATEMENT OF PRACTICAL TREATMENT: If swallowed: Contact a physician or poison control center immediately. Skin or Clothing: remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and warm water. Call a physician if irritation persists. Wash clothes prior to reuse. Eyes - flush eyes with plenty of water. Call a physician if irritation persists. NOTE TO PHYSICIANS: Propoxur is a carbamate insecticide. Treat symptomatically if signs of cholinesterase inhibitors are present. Atropine sulfate by injection only is antidotal. 2-PAM may also be administered but only in conjunction with atropine. ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS: This product is toxic to fish, birds and wildlife. Eye Contact: Causes moderate eye irritation
Skin Contact: Not a skin irritant. Harmful if absorbed through skin.
Ingestion: Harmful if swallowed.
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: Not given
This product contains a carbamate insecticide which inhibits the enzyme cholinesterase. Signs and symptoms which may be seen, usually within one to two hours following over exposure, may include (but may not be limited to) headache, constriction of the pupil of the eye, blurred vision, excessive salivation or nasal discharge, profuse sweating, abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Convulsions are rarely seen in carbamate poisoning.

EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
SKIN: Take off contaminated clothing. Immediately rinse skin with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
INGESTION: Immediately call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
INHALATION: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth, if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.
NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Propoxur is a reversible cholinesterase inhibitor. Atropine sulfate is antidotal and should be administered only if symptoms persist.
