Acute Health Effects: From MSDS:Route Of Entry - Inhalation: YES Skin: YES Ingestion: YES Effects of Overexposure: SKIN CONTACT: May be absorbed through skin and produce effects as listed under ***Ingestion.*** Can cause irritation and reddening of the skin. INGESTION: Harmful if swallowed. Irritation of the mouth, throat, and stomach. May cause kidney damage. May cause headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, gastrointestinal irritation and central nervous system depression. INHALATION: Symptoms of over exposure may be

Carcinogenicity: THIS PRODUCT OR ONE OF ITS INGREDIENTS PRESENT AT 0.1% OR MORE IS LISTED AS A CARCINOGEN OR POTENTIAL CARCINGEN BY NTP, IARC OR OSHA. VINYL ACETATE: THE INTERNATIONAL AGENCY FOR RESEARCH ON CANCER (IARC) HAS CLASSIFIED VINYL ACETATE AS A POSSIBLE HUMAN CARCINOGEN (GROUP 2B).
First Aid: WARNING! Harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin. Irritating to eyes. Irritating to skin. POSSIBLE CANCER HAZARD. INHALATION: Get medical attention if irritation or symptoms develop. If not breathing, begin artificial respiration using a barrier device. Because of chemical properties, do not use mouth-to-mouth contact. Remove to fresh air. EYES: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention if irritation persists. INGESTION: Immediate medical attention is required. Do not induce vomiting . If victim is conscious, give 2-4 glasses of water. SKIN: Wash off with soap and water. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-use. Get medical attention if irritation or symptoms develop. Flush skin with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes until no evidence of chemical remains. Note to Physician: Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.

Handling: AVOID CONTACT WITH SKIN AND EYES. REMOVE AND WASH CONTAMINATED CLOTHING BEFORE RE-USE. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN. Keep container dry. Store away from heat, sources of ignition, and incompatibles. Avoid accidental ingestion of this material. Wash hands and face before eating, drinking, smoking, using toilet facilities, or applying cosmetics. Avoid inhalation of vapor or mist.
Disposal: DISPOSE OF IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL REGULATIONS.
