THIS PRODUCT REDUCES THE CLOTTING ABILITY OF THE BLOOD AND MAY CAUSE BLEEDING IN EXTREME CASES. CHRONIC EXPOSURE MAY RESULT IN AN ACCUMULATION IN THE SYSTEM RESULTING IN BLEEDING.

MONITOR PROTHROMBIN TIMES FOR A MINIMUM OF 5 - 7 DAYS. INTRAVENOUS AND ORAL ADMINISTRATION OF VITAMIN K1 SHOULD BE GIVEN IF LAB RESULTS INDICATE AN EFFECT ON BLOOD CLOTTING TIME. ONE OUNCE OF PRODUCT INGESTED MAY EFFECT PROTHROMBIN TIMES. CHRONIC INGESTION OVER SEVERAL DAYS WOULD REQUIRE LESS PRODUCT TO IMPACT ON THE CLOTTING ABILITY OF BLOOD. IF ADMINISTRATION OF VITAMIN K1 IS INITIATED ON A DAILY BASIS, CONTINUE TO MONITOR CLOTTING TIMES FOR A PERIOD OF 30 DAYS, SINCE CLOTTING TIMES MAY DROP TO NORMAL FOR SHORT PERIODS THEN INCREASE AGAIN. THIS PRODUCT DOES HAVE A PROLONGED ANTICOAGULANT ACTION WHICH MAY PERSIST FOR UP TO 45 DAYS.
SKIN CONTACT: IMMEDIATELY WASH THOROUGHLY WITH SOAP AND WATER. THEN FLUSH WITH LARGE AMOUNTS OF RUNNING WATER FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES.
INHALATION: REMOVE PERSON TO FRESH AIR. PROLONGED INHALATION, MORE THAN 4 HOURS MAY BE SUFFICIENT TO AFFECT CLOTTING ABILITY OF THE BLOOD. SEE A PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY AND MONITOR PROTHROMBIN TIMES FOR SEVERAL DAYS (5 - 7) TO DETERMINE IF THERE HAS BEEN AN EXPOSURE OF CONCERN. IF CLOTTING TIMES ARE EXTENDED, THEN ANTICOAGULANT POISONING IS PROBABLE. ADMINISTER VITAMIN K1 AS IN THE CASE OF HEMORRHAGE CAUSED BY OVERDOSES OF ISHYDROXYCOUMARIN. SHOULD BE REPEATED OVER A PERIOD OF MINIMUM TWO TO THREE WEEKS.
EYE CONTACT: IMMEDIATELY FLUSH EYES, INCLUDING UNDER THE EYELIDS, WITH LARGE AMOUNTS OF RUNNING WATER FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES.
