Health Effects

| Contains petroleum distillates. Vapor Harmful. May affect brain or nervous system causing dizziness, headaches or nausea. Causes eye, skin, nose and throat irritation. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling contents may be harmful or fatal. Use only with adequate ventilation. To avoid breathing vapor or spray mist, open windows and doors or use other means to ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headaches or dizziness, increase fresh air or wear respiratory protection (NIOHS/MSHA-approved) or leave the area. Close container after each use. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Keep away from heat and flame. Do not smoke. First Aid: if swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. If you experience difficulty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued difficulty is experienced, get medical assistance immediately. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention. For skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water. Keep out of reach of children. | From MSDS:Primary routes of entry: Dermal. Inhalation. Ingestion. Eye.Skin Contact: May cause skin irritation. Prolonged or repeated contact can result in defatting and drying of the skin which may result in dermatitis. Eye Contact: May cause eye irritation. Symptoms include stinging, tearing, redness. Inhalation: Vapors may cause narcosis and irritation of respiratory system. Prolonged or repeated contact can cause nasal and respiratory irritation, dizziness, weakness, fatigue, nausea, headache, possible unconsciousness, and even asphyxiation. Ingestion: Can cause gastrointestinal irritation, vomiting. Aspiration (breathing) of vomitus into lungs must be avoided; can enter lungs and cause severe damage. Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Preexisting eye, skin and respiratory disorders may be aggravated by exposure to this product. |

Handling/Disposal

| Combustible. Prevent contact with flames or hot surfaces. Do not store near heat. Keep containers closed when not in use. Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Avoid breathing concentrated vapors. Store only in well-ventilated areas. Store out of sun and away from heat. DANGER: Rags, steel wool or waste soaked with this product may spontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded. Immediately after use, place rags, steel wool or waste in a sealed water filled metal container to prevent this. |
