Hazards Identification

Emergency Overview

Danger. Flammable liquid and vapour. May cause genetic defects. May cause cancer.

Potential Health Effects

Eye Contact: Eye contact may cause burns, irritation, tearing and corneal damage. Can cause minor irritation, tearing and reddening. Can cause moderate irritation.

Skin Contact: No absorption hazard in normal industrial use. Contact with skin can cause irritation, (minor itching, burning and /or redness), Dermatitis, Defatting may be readily absorbed through the skin.

Ingestion: No hazard in normal industrial use. Harmful if swallowed. Ingestion may cause nausea and irritation.

Inhalation: No hazard in normal industrial use. Irritating to the nose, throat, and respiratory tract. May cause headaches and dizziness.
Chronic Health Effects: From SDS:

Unlikely to cause irritation even on repeated contact. Upon prolonged or repeated exposure, no hazard in normal industrial use.
Carcinogenicity: May cause cancer.
First Aid: Eye Contact: Use an eye wash to remove a chemical from your eye regardless of the level of hazard. Flush the affected eye for at least twenty minutes. Tilt the head to prevent chemical from transferring to the uncontaminated eye. Seek medical advice after flushing. Flush eye with water for 20 minutes. Get medical attention. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist

Skin Contact: Wash with soap and water. Wash affected area thoroughly with soap and water.

Inhalation: This material does not present a hazard if inhaled. Remove individual to fresh air after an airborne exposure if any symptoms develop, as a precautionary measure. If inhaled, remove victim rom exposure to a well-ventilated area.

Ingestion: No hazard in normal industrial use. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention if symptoms develop. Provide medical care provider with this SDS. Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Call a physician or poison control center immediately.

Handling/Disposal
Handling: Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool dry place. Isolate from incompatible materials. For maximum product quality, avoid prolonged storage at temperatures below 40 deg, F. (4 deg. C) or above 95 deg. F (35 deg. C). Shelf life is one year.
Disposal: Spent or discarded material is a hazardous waste. Disposal must be in accordance with applicable Federal, State/Provincial and Local regulations.
