Potential Health Effects

Routes of Exposure: Ingestion. Inhalation. Skin contact. Eye contact.

Eye Contact: Accidental exposure will cause a moderate but transient irritation.

Skin Contact: May cause irritation. Prolonged contact may cause redness, irritation and dry skin.

Inhalation: Irritating to mucous membranes.

Ingestion: Ingestion may cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS:

Hazardous by OSHA criteria.
Carcinogenicity: No information available.
First Aid: Eye Contact: After initial flushing, remove any contact lenses and continue flushing for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if symptoms persist.

Skin Contact: Wash affected area with mild soap and water. Rinse with plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Rinse nose, mouth and throat with water. Call a physician if symptoms develop or persist.

Ingestion: Immediately give large quantities of water to drink. Never give liquid to an unconscious person. Do not induce vomiting without advice from poison control center or doctor. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
