Potential Health Effects

Routes of Exposure: Ingestion. Inhalation. Skin contact. Eye contact.

Eye Contact: Severely irritating; if not removed promptly, will injure eye tissue, which may result in permanent damage.

Skin Contact: Strongly irritating. Prolonged contact may cause burns.

Inhalation: Vapors may irritate throat and respiratory system and cause coughing.

Ingestion: May be fatal if swallowed. Severely irritating to mucous membranes.

First Aid: Eye Contact: Immediately rinse with water. After initial flushing, remove any contact lenses and continue flushing for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician or Poison Control Center immediately.

Skin Contact: In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Contact physician if irritation continues.

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Call a physician or poison control center immediately. Perform artificial respiration if breathing has stopped and call an ambulance.

Ingestion: Call a physician or poison control center immediately. Only induce vomiting at the instruction of medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If victim is fully conscious, give a cupful of water. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand.
