IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.

IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do so. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

Eye Contact: Direct contact with the eyes is likely to be irritating.

Skin Contact: Contact may cause irritation.

Inhalation: Inhalation in high concentrations may cause irritation of the mucous membranes. Solvent vapors are hazardous and may cause nausea, sickness and headaches. Aspiration of this material into the lungs may cause chemical pneumonia or death.

Ingestion: Acute ingestion causes CNS depression, oropharyngeal and gastric pain and vomiting. ay be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.

First Aid: Eye Contact: Rinse immediately and thoroughly, pulling the eyelids well away from the eye (15 minutes minimum). Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do so. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation occurs, get medical advice/attention.

Skin Contact: Immediately rinse with plenty of soap and water (for at least 15 minutes). If skin irritation occurs, get medical advice/attention. Remove contaminated clothing/shoes and wash before reuse.

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell. If breathing stops, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.

Ingestion: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. Do NOT induce vomiting. Obtain emergency medical attention.

Handling/Disposal
Handling: Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking or smoking and when leaving work. Provide good ventilation in process area to prevent formation of vapor. Do not breathe mists. Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. Keep only in the original container in a cool, well ventilated place away from heat sources. Keep container closed when not in use. Do not allow to freeze, as container may burst.
Disposal: Do not discharge to public wastewater systems without permit of pollution control authorities. No discharge to surface waters is allowed without an NPDES permit.
