Health Effects

For external use only.? When using this product avoid contact with eyes.? If product gets into the eyes rinse thoroughly with water.? With other topical acne medications, at the same time or immediately following use of this product, increased dryness or irritation of the skin may occur.? If this occurs, only one acne medication should be used unless directed by your doctor.? Limit use to the face and neck.? Stop use and ask a doctor if skin or eye irritation develops.? Keep out of reach of children.? In case of accidental ingestion, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. |

Emergency Overview
This product is regulated by the US FDA as a personal care cosmetic or over-the-counter drug. Extensive testing has been completed to show that it is safe and effective when used as directed.
WARNING: CAUSES EYE IRRITATION. MAY CAUSE SKIN IRRITATION.
Potential short term health effects
Routes of exposure:? Eye, Skin contact, Inhalation, Ingestion.
Eyes: Causes irritation.
Skin: May cause irritation.
Inhalation: May cause respiratory tract irritation.
Ingestion: May cause stomach distress, nausea or vomiting.
Target organs:? Eyes. Respiratory system.
Signs and symptoms: Symptoms may include redness, edema, drying, defatting and cracking of the skin.

Prolonged or repeated exposure can cause drying, defatting and dermatitis.

The finished product is not expected to have chronic health effects. |
Eye contact:? Flush with cool water. Remove contact lenses, if applicable, and continue flushing. Obtain medical attention if irritation persists.
Skin contact:? In case of skin irritation, discontinue use of product.
Inhalation:? If symptoms develop move victim to fresh air. If symptoms persist, obtain medical attention.
Ingestion:? Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water, then drink one or two glasses of water. Obtain medical attention. Never give anything by mouth if victim is unconscious, or is convulsing.
Notes to physician: Symptoms may be delayed.
General advice:? If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label where possible). Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved, and take precautions to protect themselves. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children.
