Acute Health Effects: From MSDS:Hazards IdentificationEmergency OverviewExtensive testing has been completed to show that it is safe and effective when used as directed. Extremely flammable. CAUTION: Contents under pressure. Do not puncture or incinerate container. Containers may explode when heated. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum or using tobacco. Keep out of reach of children.Potential short term health effectsRoutes of exposure Eye, Skin contact, Inhalation, Ingestion.Eyes: Moderately irritating to the eyes.Skin: May cause irritation. Not a skin sensitizer based on test data.Inhalation: Excessive intentional inhalation may cause respiratory tract irritation and central nervous system effects (headache, dizziness).Ingestion: Not a normal route of exposure. May cause stomach distress, nausea or vomiting.Signs and symptoms: Symptoms may include redness, edema, drying, defatting and cracking of the skin. Symptoms of overexposure may be headache, dizziness, tiredness, nausea and vomiting.

First Aid: Inhalation: Move to fresh air.Skin contact: Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water removing all contaminated clothes and shoes.Eye contact: If in eyes, IMMEDIATELY hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses if present after the first 5 minutes then continue rinsing eye. Call a Poison Control Center or doctor for treatment advice.Ingestion: Contains Quaternary Ammonium compounds. Rinse mouth with water. Contact a physician or Poison Control Center if symptoms persist.Notes to physician: Contains quaternary ammonium compounds.
