Emergency Overview

This product is regulated by the US FDA as a personal care cosmetic. Warnings: For external use only. When using this product, avoid contact with the eyes. If product gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. Use with other topical acne medications, at the same time or immediately following use of this product, may increase dryness or irritation of the skin may occur. If this occurs, only one acne medication should be used unless directed by your doctor. Limit use to the face and neck. Stop use and ask a doctor if skin or eye irritation develops. In case of accidental ingestion, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Potential Health Effects

Routes of exposure: Eye, Skin contact, Inhalation, Ingestion.

Eye Contact: Avoid contact with eyes. May cause eye irritation.

Skin Contact: Use with other topical acne medications, at the same time or immediately following use of this product, may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one acne medication should be used unless directed by your doctor. May cause skin irritation. Not expected to be a skin sensitizer.

Inhalation: Unlikely to cause respiratory effects.

Ingestion: Ingestion may cause gastrointestinal irritation.

Signs and Symptoms: Symptoms may include redness, edema, drying, defatting and cracking of the skin.
Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS:

The finished product is not expected to have chronic health effects.
Carcinogenicity: The finished product is not expected to have chronic health effects.
First Aid: Eye Contact: Avoid contact with eyes. If product gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. Remove contact lenses if present. Flush immediately with large amounts of water, especially under lids for at least 15 minutes. If irritation or other effects persist, obtain medical treatment.

Skin Contact: Skin irritation and dryness is more likely to occur if you use another topical acne medication at the same time. If irritation occurs, only use one topical acne medication at a time. If irritation occurs wash thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and consult a physician.

Inhalation: No specific treatment is necessary since this material is not likely to be hazardous by inhalation. Remove to fresh air if inhalation causes eye watering, headaches, dizziness or other discomfort.

Ingestion: In case of accidental ingestion, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

If swallowed in quantity DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! Rinse mouth thoroughly and seek medical attention immediately.
