Precautionary Statements


Keep away from flames and hot surfaces. No smoking. If on clothing: Rinse immediately contaminated clothing and skin with plenty of water before removing clothing. In case of fire: Use water fog, foam, CO2, or dry chemical to extinguish. In case of major fire and large quantities: Evacuate area. Fight fire remotely due to risk of explosion. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Wear goggles, face shield or safety glass for protection. Wear protective gloves that are chemical resistant.Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.Avoid breathing vapor mist. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.


If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

If on skin: Wash with plenty of water. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Take off contaminate clothing and wash before reuse.

If swallowed: Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice if you feel unwell. Rinse mouth.

If inhaled: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Call a poison control center or doctor if you feel unwell.

First Aid: Eye Contact: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Skin Contact: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Inhalation: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artifical respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth if possible.

Ingestion: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Note to Physician: Contains petroleum distillate. May pose an aspiration pneumonia hazard. Inducing vomiting as first aid for this substance may result in increased risk of pneumonia edema caused by aspiration of the hydrocarbon solvent. Vomiting should be induced only under professional supervision.
