Hazards Identification

Emergency Overview: Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. When using this product, wear long-sleeved shirt, long pants, socks, shoes, and rubber gloves. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals.

Potential Health Effects

Eye Contact: No known significant effects or critical hazards.

Skin Contact: May cause sensitization by skin contact.

Inhalation: Toxic by inhalation. Exposure to decomposition products may cause a health hazard.

Ingestion: No known significant effects or critical hazards.

Medical Conditions Aggravated by Over-exposure: Pre-existing skin disorders may be aggravated by over-exposure to this product.

First Aid: Eye Contact: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Skin Contact: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15 to 20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Inhalation: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.
