Irritating to eyes. Harmful if swallowed. Keep out of the reach of children. May cause central nervous system depression
Potential Health Effects
Eye Contact: Irritating to eyes. Corrosive to the eyes and may cause severe damage including blindness. Risk of serious damage to eyes.
Skin Contact: Irritating to skin.
Inhalation: Harmful by inhalation. May cause irritation of respiratory tract. May be harmful if inhaled.
Ingestion Harmful if swallowed. Ingestion may cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and
diarrhea. Do not taste or swallow.
Aggravated Medical Conditions: Central nervous system. Preexisting eye disorders. Blood disorders. Liver disorders. Overexposure may cause female and male reproductive disorder(s). Skin disorders.
Respiratory disorders. Reproductive toxicity.

Chronic Health Effects:
From MSDS:
Chronic exposure to corrosive fumes/gases may cause erosion of the teeth followed by jaw necrosis. Bronchial irritation with chronic cough and frequent attacks of pneumonia are common. Gastrointestinal disturbances may also be seen. Ethanol has been shown to be a reproductive toxin only when consumed as an alcoholic beverage. Ethanol has been shown to be carcinogenic in long-term studies only when consumed as alcoholic beverage. Avoid repeated exposure. Possible risks of irreversible effects. May cause adverse liver effects. Contains a known or suspected reproductive toxin.

First Aid:
Eye Contact: Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician.
Skin contact: Immediate medical attention is required. Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of
water while removing all contaminated clothes and shoes. Immediate medical attention is not required. If skin irritation persists, call a physician.
Inhalation: Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Call a physician or Poison Control Center immediately. Immediate
medical attention is not required. If symptoms persist, call a physician. Move to fresh air in case of accidental inhalation of vapors or decomposition products. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.
Ingestion: Immediate medical attention is required. Do NOT induce vomiting. Drink plenty of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Consult a physician. Remove from exposure, lie down. Call a physician or Poison Control Center immediately.
Notes to physician: Product is a corrosive material. Use of gastric lavage or emesis is contraindicated.
Possible perforation of stomach or esophagus should be investigated. Do not give chemical antidotes. Asphyxia from glottal edema may occur. Marked decrease in blood pressure may occur with moist rales, frothy sputum, and high pulse pressure. Treat symptomatically.

Wear personal protective equipment. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Ensure adequate ventilation. Use only in area provided with appropriate exhaust ventilation. To avoid ignition of vapors by static electricity discharge, all metal parts of the equipment must be grounded. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. No smoking. Do not breathe vapors or spray mist. Take necessary action to avoid static electricity discharge (which might cause ignition of organic vapors). In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Handle product only in closed system or provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at machinery.

Dispose of in accordance with all regulations applicable to non-hazardous waste.
