Warnings: Do not allow children to play with collar. Precautionary Statements: Hazards to humans and domestic animals. Hazards to Humans: Harmful if swallowed. Causes moderate eye irritation. Wash throughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Hazards to Domestic Animals: Collar is for external use only, not to be taken internally. Some animals may become irritated by any collar. If this occurs, remove collar. If condition persists, consult a veterinarian. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, medicated, pregnant or nursing animals. Restriction: Do not use on pets under 12 weeks of age. Sensitivities may occur after using nay pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur remove collar and bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Notice: This product contains a chemical (propoxur) known to the State of California to cause cancer.

Emergency Overview: Caution. Harmful if swallowed. Eye irritant.

Potential Health Effects

Routes of Exposure: Eye, Skin contact, Inhalation, Ingestion

Eye Contact: Causes moderate irritation to the eyes.

Skin Contact: May cause irritation.

Inhalation: May cause respiratory tract irritation.

Ingestion: Harmful if swallowed. May cause stomach distress, nausea or vomiting.

Signs and symptoms: Symptoms may include redness, edema, drying, defatting and cracking of the skin. Symptoms of overexposure may be headache, dizziness, tiredness, nausea and vomiting.
Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS:

Prolonged or repeated exposure can cause drying, defatting and dermatitis.
Carcinogenicity: Propoxur CAS No. 000114-26-1 ACGIH-A3: Confirmed Animal Carcinogen with Unknown Relevance to Humans
First Aid: Eye Contact: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Skin Contact: Flush with cool water. Wash with soap and water. Obtain medical attention if irritation persists.

Inhalation: If symptoms develop move victim to fresh air. If symptoms persist, obtain medical attention.

Ingestion: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. DO NOT induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Notes to Physician: Dust release by this collar is a cholinesterease inhibitor. Atropine is antidotal.

Handling/Disposal
Handling: Use good industrial hygiene practices in handling this material. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Store in a cool, dry area that is inaccessible to children or pets. Protect from freezing.
Disposal: Non-refillable container. Do not reuse or refill the container. Dispose of expired collar in trash or call your local waste agency for disposal instructions.
