Wash with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum or using tobacco. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Physical or Chemical Hazards: Contents under pressure. Do not use or store near heat or open flame. Do not puncture or incinerate container. Exposure to temperatures above 130 degrees F may cause bursting.

Emergency Overview: CAUTION. Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through the skin. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.

Potential Health Effects

Routes of Exposure: Eye, Skin contact, Skin absorption, Inhalation, Ingestion.

Eye Contact: May cause temporary irritation, tearing, and blurred vision. Mildly irritating, conjunctival redness clears by 24 hours.

Skin Contact: Can cause skin irritation. Can cause a burning or prickling sensation on more sensitive areas (face, eyes, mouth). Harmful if absorbed through the skin. Slight irritation at 72 hours.

Inhalation: Excessive inhalation may be irritating to the respiratory tract.

Ingestion: Harmful if swallowed.

Signs and Symptoms: May cause irritation.
Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS:

Carcinogenicity: None of the components present in this material at concentrations equal to or greater

than 0.1% are listed by IARC, NTP, OSHA or ACGIH as being carcinogens.
First Aid: Eye Contact: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Skin Contact: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Inhalation: Remove affected person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

Ingestion: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. DO NOT induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Notes to Physician: For skin effects, a highly efficient therapeutic agent for pyrethroid exposure is topical application of tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E). Diazepam has been recommended to reduce the CNS effects of Esfenvalerate.

Handling: Take prudent precautions to avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. Mechanical ventilation should be used when handling this product in enclosed spaces. Avoid breathing vapors or spray mists of this product. Wearing a respirator is not normally required when handling this product, but recommended in the absence of proper mechanical ventilation. Do not contaminate water, food or feedstuffs, by storage, handling or by disposale. Read and observe all precautions and instructions on the label. Store containers upright and closed. Store in areas that are cool, dry and well-ventilated. DO NOT allow product to exceed 160 deg F (71.1 deg C) as HYDROGEN CYANIDE GAS may be produced. Keep away from strong acids, bases and oxidizers. Emptied container may retain product residues.
Disposal: IF EMPTY: Do not reuse this container. Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. IF PARTLY FILLED: Call your local solid waste agency or 1-800-CLEAN-UP for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
