Warnings: Important! Storage and disposal: danger! Rags, steel wool and waste soaked with Behr no. 434 may spontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded or stored. To avoid a spontaneous combustion fire, immediately after use, place rags, steel wool or waste in a sealed, water-filled, metal container. Do not store unused product inside the home. For disposal guidance, contact your household refuse collection service, fire department, county or state government environmental control agency. Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Combustible liquid and vapor. Contains: petroleum distillates. Vapor harmful. May affect the brain or nervous system causing dizziness, headache or nausea. Causes eye, skin, nose and throat irritation. Notice: reports have associated repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and nervous system damage. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling contents may be harmful or fatal. Keep away from heat and flame. Do not smoke. Close container after each use. Use only with adequate ventilation. To avoid breathing vapors or spray mist, open windows and doors or use other means to ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. Do not use in an unventilated area. If properly used, a respirator (NIOSH approved for organic vapor with p series particulate pre-filter) may offer additional protection; obtain professional advice before using. A dust mask does not provide protection against vapors. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wash thoroughly after handling. Close container after each use. Keep out of reach of children - do not take internally.
Acute Health Effects: From MSDS Inhalation: Product is a mild irritant. Effects are temporary and reversible. Vapor odors may cause irritation in the upper and lower respiratory tracts, nausea, headaches, and dizziness. Eye Contact: Product is a mild irritant. Effects are temporary and reversible. May cause irritation, redness, and tearing. Skin Contact: Product is a mild irritant. Effects are temporary and reversible. May cause irritation and redness. Not absorbed into skin. Ingestion: Harmful if swallowed. Ingestion can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and gastrointestinal irritation. MEDICAL CONDITIONS GENERALLY AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: Available toxicology, chemical and physical data show that overexposure is unlikely to aggravate any medical condition.

First Aid: From MSDS EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES EYE CONTACT: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Expose to fresh air. Call Physician immediately. SKIN CONTACT: Wash with soap and water for 15 minutes. INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. Call physician if experiencing any difficulty breathing. INGESTION: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! CALL PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY. Activated charcoal may be administered. If conscious, feed two glasses of water.
