Warnings: CAUTION: Harmful if swallowed. Causes moderate eye irritation. Harmful if absorbed through the skin. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

This pesticide may be toxic to fish, aquatic invertebrates and aquatic plants. This pesticide may adversely affect non-target plants. Do not apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwater or rinsate. Drift and runoff may be hazardous to aquatic organisms in water adjacent to treated areas. Runoff of this product will be reduced by avoiding applications when rainfall is forecasted to occur within 48 hours. This chemical has properties and characteristics associated with chemicals detected in groundwater. The use of this chemical in areas where soils are permeable, particularly where the water table is shallow, may result in groundwater contamination. Application around a cistern or well may result in contamination of drinking water or groundwater.

Emergency Overview: CAUTION: Causes comeal irritation. Causes skin irritation. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Harmful if swallowed, absorbed through skin or inhaled. Avoid breathing spray. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Remove contaminated clothing launder separately.

Potential Health Effects

Routes of Entry: Skin contact, inhalation, ingestion.

Eye Contact: Moderately irritating to eyes.

Skin Contact: Moderately irritating to skin.

Inhalation: Moderately irritating to the mucous membranes. Inhalation of sprays may cause burning sensations in the respiratory tract, resulting in coughing.

Ingestion: May cause vomiting, with pain in the chest and abdomen, and diarrhea.

Signs and Symptoms: Inhalation may cause burning in the chest, with coughing. Prolonged inhalation sometimes causes dizziness. Ingestion usually leads to vomiting. Pain in the chest and abdomen, and diarrhea may follow. Headache, mental confusion, and bizarre behavior are early manifestations of severe poisoning, which may progress to unconsciousness.

First Aid: Eye Contact: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Handling: Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Avoid breathing spray. Do not use on surfaces that can be harmed by water. Keep out of the reach of children. Always practice good hygiene when handling this or any chemical. Wash thoroughly with soap and water any exposed areas. Do not contaminate other stored products or the storage area by handling or storage of this product. Immediately clean up any spills, which occur during handling and storage. Store product in original container and keep container closed when not in use. Do not store near food or feed. Protect from freezing.
Disposal: Pesticide wastes are acutely hazardous. Improper disposal of excess pesticide, spray mixture, or rinsate is a violation of Federal law and may contaminate groundwater. If these wastes cannot be disposed of by use according to label instructions, contact your state pesticide or Environmental Control Agency or the Hazardous Waste representative at the nearest EPA Regional Office for guidance.Container Disposal: Then offer for landfill or incineration, or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or incineration, or if allowed by state and local authorities by burning.
