Acute Health Effects: From MSDS Inhalation: In it's wet state, this product should not pose any threat to health due to overexposure. Eye Contact: Direct contact may cause burning, tearing, redness and swelling. Skin Contact: May cause slight irritation. Ingestion: May produce signs of intoxication characterized by incoordination, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, nausea, mental confusion, possible slurred speech, and stupor, depending on the quantity of material ingested. Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: Inhalation of the dust from sanding the dry film can aggravate respiratory conditions.

Carcinogenicity: From MSDS IARC concludes that there is sufficient evidence for the carcinogenicity of crystalline silica to experimental animals be listed evidence of the carcinogenicity to humans (IARC Class 2A).
