Potential Health Effects

Skin Contact: Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.

Inhalation: Specific test data for the substance or mixture is not available. Aspiration into lungs can produce severe lung damage. May cause pulmonary edema. Pulmonary edema can be fatal. May cause irritation of respiratory tract.

Ingestion: Specific test data for the substance or mixture is not available. Potential for aspiration if swallowed. May cause lung damage if swallowed. Aspiration may cause pulmonary edema and pneumonitis. May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.
Chronic Health Effects: From SDS:

May cause sensitization of susceptible persons. May cause sensitization by skin contact. May cause sensitization by inhalation.

First Aid: Eye Contact: If symptoms persist, call a physician. Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.

Inhalation: Move victim to fresh air. Give artificial respiration if victim is not breathing. Administer oxygen if breathing is difficult.

Ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting. Aspiration hazard if swallowed - can enter lungs and cause damage. If vomiting occurs spontaneously, keep head below hips to prevent aspiration. Rinse mouth immediately and drink plenty of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician or poison control center immediately.

Handling/Disposal
Handling: Put on appropriate personal protective equipment. Pressurized container: protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 deg. C. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not ingest. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid breathing gas. Avoid breathing vapor or mist. Use only with adequate ventilation. Wear appropriate respirator when ventilation is inadequate. Empty containers retain product residue and can be hazardous.
Disposal: This material, as supplied, is a hazardous waste according to federal regulations (40 CFR 261). Dispose of contents/containers in accordance with local regulations.
