Emergency Overview

This material is a white viscous liquid. It is a water based, non-flammable paint product with a flash point greater than 200 deg Fahrenheit.

Potential Health Effects

Primary Routes of Exposure: Skin Absorption, Eye Contact

Eye Contact: Contact may eye cause irritation.

Skin Contact: Prolonged or repeated contact may cause skin irritation.

Ingestion: Ingestion may cause gastrointestinal distress.

Inhalation: Prolonged exposure may cause respiratory tract irritation, however inhalation is not considered a significant route of exposure.
Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS:

Carcinogenicity: This material is not considered a carcinogen by IARC or NTP and is not regulated as a carcinogen by OSHA.
First Aid: Eye Contact: Flush eye with water for 15 minutes. If symptoms persist, consult a physician.

Skin Contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation develops.

Inhalation: If exposed to excessive levels of vapor, remove person to fresh air. Seek medical attention if symptoms develop.

Ingestion: If person is conscious, give one or two glasses of water to drink and call a physician or poison control center. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Note to Physician: Treat symptomatically. This material is basically non-toxic. A small quantity (approx. one tablespoon) is unlikely to cause harm.
