Precautionary Statements

Avoid breathing vapors, mist, or spray. Wash hands, forearms, and other exposed areas thoroughly after handling. Contaminated work clothing must not be allowed out of the workplace. Avoid release to the environment. Wear protective clothing, protective gloves, eye protection. In case of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection.

If on skin: Wash with plenty of water. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse.

If inhaled: Remove person to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.

If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

If experiencing respiratory symptoms: Call a poison center or doctor.

Skin Contact: Causes skin irritation. Symptoms may include: Redness, pain, swelling, itching, burning, dryness, and dermatitis.

Inhalation: May cause respiratory irritation. May cause allergy or asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled.

Ingestion: Symptoms may include: Gastrointestinal irritation. Abdominal pain. Diarrhea. Nausea. Vomiting.

General: Causes skin irritation. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause allergy or asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled.
Chronic Health Effects: From SDS:

First Aid: Eye Contact: Rinse cautiously with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do so. Continue rinsing. Obtain medical attention if irritation persists.

Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical advice if irritation develops or persists. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

Inhalation: When symptoms occur: go into open air and ventilate suspected area. Remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Call a POISON CENTER/doctor/physician if you feel unwell.

Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Get medical advice and attention if you feel unwell.
