This chemical is considered hazardous by the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200).Warning. Causes mild skin irritation.Causes serious eye irritation.

Potential Health Effects

Eye Contact: May cause eye irritation.

Skin Contact: Prolonged contact may cause irritation.

Inhalation: Exposure to vapor or mist may irritate respiratory tract.

Ingestion: Ingestion may cause irritation to mucous membranes, gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
Chronic Health Effects: From SDS:

Carcinogenicity: Contains no ingredient listed as a carcinogen.
First Aid: Eye Contact: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 - 20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Skin Contact: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. If the person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, and then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth. Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice.

Ingestion: Have person sip a glassful of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice.

General Advice: Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.
