Potential Health Effects

Primary Route(s) Of Entry - Ingestion, eye contact, skin contact, inhalation.

Eye Contact: Causes eye irritation.

Skin Contact: Causes skin irritation.

Inhalation: Deliberate inhalation of concentrated vapor or mist may cause headache, dizziness and nausea.

Ingestion: This is an aerosol product, ingestion is unlikely to occur. Contains petroleum distillate, harmful if swallowed. If accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call physician immediately.

Signs And Symptoms: Prolonged inhalation of vapor or mist may cause headache, dizziness and nausea. Prolonged contact with the skin causes irritation. Irritant to eyes.

Conditions Aggravated By Exposure: Pre-existing skin, respiratory, liver and kidney disorders.

Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS:

Toluene and xylene have been associated with kidney and liver disorders.

First Aid: Eye Contact: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Skin Contact: Wash skin with soap and water. If irritation develops, consult a physician.

Inhalation: If overcome by vapor move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then provide artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth, if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.
