Prevention

Obtain special instructions before use. Avoid contact during pregnancy/while nursing. Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. No smoking. Pressurized container: Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not breathe mist/vapors/spray. In case of inadequate ventilation] wear respiratory protection. Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source. Wash thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves and eye protection. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Contaminated work clothing must not be allowed out of the workplace.

Response

If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse.

If experiencing respiratory symptoms: Call a POISON CENTER/doctor. If inhaled: If breathing is difficult, remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing.

If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.

IF exposed or concerned: Get medical advice/attention.

Storage

Store locked up. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 deg C/122 deg F. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.

Potential Health Effects

Eye Contact: Irritating effect.

Skin Contact: Irritant to skin and mucous membranes. Sensitization possible through skin contact.

Inhalation: Inhalation of concentrated vapors as well as oral intake will lead to anaesthesia-like conditions and headache, dizziness, etc. Sensitization possible through inhalation.

First Aid: Eye Contact: Immediately remove contact lenses if possible. Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Then consult a doctor.

Skin Contact: Do not pull solidified product away from the skin. Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.

Inhalation: Supply fresh air; consult doctor in case of complaints. Provide oxygen treatment if affected person has difficulty breathing. In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in side position for transportation.

Ingestion: Rinse out mouth and then drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting; immediately call for medical help.

Handling/Disposal
Handling: Keep away from heat and direct sunlight. Use only in well ventilated areas. Keep ignition sources away. Do not smoke. Keep respiratory protective device available. Pressurized container: protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 120 deg F / 49 deg C, i.e. electric lights. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material. Emergency cooling must be available in case of nearby fire. Observe official regulations on storing packagings with pressurized containers. Provide ventilation for receptacles. Avoid storage near extreme heat, ignition sources or open flame. Store away from foodstuffs. Store away from oxidizing agents. Store in a cool place. Heat will increase pressure and may lead to the receptacle bursting.
Disposal: Must not be disposed of together with household garbage. Do not allow product to reach sewage system. Can be disposed of with household garbage after solidification following consultation with the waste disposal facility operator and the pertinent authorities and adhering to the necessary technical regulations.
