Acute Health Effects: From MSDS Inhalation: Dust may cause mild irritation of the mucous membranes. Eye Contact: May cause irritation. Skin Contact: May cause irritation with drying, redness, and cracking due to the defatting action on the skin. Dermatitis may result from repeated or prolonged contact. Ingestion: May cause irritation of the throat and gastrointestinal tract, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Aspiration into the lungs could possibly occur causing chemical pneumonitis, pulmonary edema, hemorrhage, and possibly, death. Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: Pre-existing skin conditions.
