Prevention

Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Avoid breathing dust, fume, gas, mist, vapors and/or spray. Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and/or hot surfaces. No smoking. Pressurized container: Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Wash thoroughly after handling.

Response

IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Call a poison control center or doctor if you feel unwell. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.

IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. Do NOT induce vomiting.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.

Storage

Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 deg C/122 deg F.Store locked up. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.

Disposal

Dispose of contents/container to in accordance with local/regional/national/international regulations.

Potential Health Effects

Eye Contact: Causes eye irritation.

Skin Contact: May cause mild irritation.

Inhalation: May affect the central nervous system. Symptoms may include dizziness or drowsiness.

Ingestion: Aspiration Hazard - may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.
Chronic Health Effects: From SDS:

Prolonged and repeated exposure to Etofenprox can cause skin irritation.
Carcinogenicity: No component in this product present at 0.1 percent or greater is listed by IARC, OSHA or NTP.
First Aid: Eye Contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Skin Contact: Wash with plenty of soap and water. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.

Inhalation: If breathing is difficult, remove person to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.

Ingestion: Aspiration hazard - do NOT induce vomiting. Call a physician or poison control center for treatment advice.
