Prevention

Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Ground/Bond container and receiving equipment. Use explosion-proof electrical/ventilating/lighting equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray. Wash hands, forearms and face thoroughly after handling. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.

Response

If on skin (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower

If inhaled: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing

If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Call poison center or doctor if you feel unwell. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

In case of fire: Use media other than water to extinguish

Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Keep cool. Store locked up.

Inhalation: May cause drowsiness and dizziness.
Chronic Health Effects: From SDS:

Repeated exposure to etofenprox can cause skin irritation.
Carcinogenicity: Etofenprox is not classified as carcinogen by NTP, IARC and OSHA, (s)-Methoprene is not classified as carcinogen by NTP, IARC and OSHA, Piperonyl butoxide is not classified as carcinogen by NTP, IARC and OSHA.
First Aid: Eye Contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice and attention.

Skin Contact: Wash with plenty of soap and water. Rinse skin with water/shower. Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention.

Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.

Ingestion: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell. Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel.
