Potential Health Effects

Eye Contact: May cause irritation.

Skin Contact: May cause mild irritation.

Inhalation: Harmful if inhaled. Permethrin affects nervous system. Symptoms of overexposure to permethrin include diarrhea, salivation, tremors, convulsions, hyperactivity and hypersensitivity.

Ingestion: Harmful if ingested. Permethrin affects nervous system. Symptoms of overexposure to permethrin include diarrhea, salivation, tremors, convulsions, hyperactivity and hypersensitivity.
Chronic Health Effects: From SDS:

Carcinogenicity: A statistically significant increase in the incidence of lung and liver tumors was observed in female mice receiving diets containing 375 and 750 mg/kg/day of permethrin technical over 85 weeks. Permethrin is not classified as carcinogen by NTP, IARC and OSHA.
First Aid: Eye Contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.

Skin Contact: Wash with plenty of soap and water.

Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Immediately call a POISON CONTROL center or doctor.

Ingestion: Call a POISON CONTROL center or doctor if you feel unwell. Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.
