Prevention

Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash thoroughly after handling. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and/or hot surfaces. No smoking. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Keep container tightly closed. Ground and/or bond container and receiving equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Use explosion-proof electrical/ventilating/lighting/equipment. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Do not breathe dust, fume, gas, mist, vapors and/or spray. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace.

IF exposed: Call POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

In case of fire: Use appropriate media water fog, foam, carbon dioxide, or dry chemical for extinction.

IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.

Potential Health Effects

Eye Contact: Causes eye irritation.

Skin Contact: May cause an allergic reaction in individuals with a sensitivity to D-Limonene.

Inhalation: Harmful if inhaled. Permethrin affects nervous system. Symptoms of overexposure to permethrin include diarrhea, salivation, tremors, convulsions, hyperactivity and hypersensitivity.

Ingestion: Harmful if ingested. Permethrin affects nervous system. Symptoms of overexposure to permethrin include diarrhea, salivation, tremors, convulsions, hyperactivity and hypersensitivity. Aspiration Hazard.

Carcinogenicity: A statistically significant increase in the incidence of lung and liver tumors was observed in female mice receiving diets containing 375 and 750 mg/kg/day of permethrin technical over 85 weeks. Permethrin is not classified as carcinogen by NTP, IARC and
