General

Keep out of reach of children. Read label and SDS before use.

Prevention

Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves and clothing. Wear eye and face protection. Do not breathe fumes/mist/spray/vapors. Use only in a well-ventilated area. Keep away from sparks, flames, and hot surfaces. No smoking. Use explosion-proof ventilating. Use only non-sparking tools. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Keep container tightly closed. Keep cool. Contaminated work clothing must not be allowed out of the workplace.

Response

IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a poison center. Do NOT induce vomiting.

IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with soap and water/shower. If skin irritation or rash occurs: get medical attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Immediately call a poison center or a physician.

Storage

Store locked up in a well-ventilated place.

Disposal

Dispose of contents and container in accordance with all local, regional, and national regulations.

Potential Health Effects

Eye Contact: Causes severe irritation experienced as discomfort or pain, excess blinking and tear production, with redness and swelling of the conjunctiva.

Skin Contact: Brief contact may cause slight irritation. Prolonged contact may cause more severe irritation with pain, local redness and swelling and possible sensitization.

Inhalation: High vapor concentrations may be irritating to respiratory tract.

Ingestion: Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Aspiration hazard - this material can enter lungs during swallowing or vomiting and cause lung inflammation and damage.
Chronic Health Effects: From SDS:

Skin Contact: Prolonged contact may cause more severe irritation with pain, local redness and swelling and possible sensitization.
Carcinogenicity: This material is not listed as a carcinogen by IARC, NTP, or OSHA.
